Who knew that a warmup in 30 second work intervals could be so hard?

WOD #1
12 Minute Time Limit:

  • 3 Rep Max Thruster
  • Max Set Double Unders

each person gets up to 3 attempts at a 3-rep max thruster and 3 attempts at max double unders

WOD #2
3 Rounds For Max Reps:

  • :45 sec GHD Sit Ups
  • :15 sec Rest
  • :45 sec Clean & Jerk 135/83
  • :15 sec Rest
  • :45 sec Burpee Vertical Leap Touching Target 104in/96in
  • :15 sec Rest
  • :45 sec Chest to Bar Pull Ups
  • :15 sec Rest

We did WOD #2 first. GHD were a good place to get some numbers. I missed that we were doing C&J not just cleans, so round 1 was just cleans for me. Adding the jerks cut my score in half :) Burpee to target… the tall man’s advantage! A 6" hop to the ring was the easier part of the burpee for sure. I was really happy to be getting C2B pullups today, getting a handful or more each round.

My total for this was 81

WOD #1: I got 21 double unders (with singles in between, time to move beyond that goat!), which is a record for me, I think. I got appropriately called out for walking forward while receiving the bar on my Thrusters, so I managed to get in another round in 30 seconds, @ 135#.
